    On March 4, 2024, the Department of Multimedia organized a seminar focusing on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm for the BA Multimedia 2022 batch. Mr. Praveen Abraham, a Doctoral Research Scholar from REVA University, Bengaluru, served as the resource person for the event. With a notable background as the author of two academic books in Media Studies and over 15 years of experience in media academia, Mr. Praveen shared insights into IPR, covering patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. The media students exhibited keen enthusiasm, actively participating in the session and gaining a profound understanding of the significance of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in their future endeavours. The event was coordinated by Assistant Professor Ms. Anuja Das P.M, a faculty member in Multimedia, with student coordination led by Mr. Avinash S. from the BA MM 22 Batch.
