  • Mobile Short Film Workshop

    A mobile short film workshop was organized for second-year BA Animation and Visual Effects students on February 22nd, 23rd, and 26th, 2024. The event was coordinated by Mr. Febin M Sunny and Mr. Tinsho J Thomas. The workshop aimed to enhance students' skills in filmmaking using mobile devices. During the workshop, students were tasked with creating short films centered around the themes of International Women's Day (March 8) and World Water Day (March 22). The workshop provided students with practical experience in conceptualizing, scripting, filming, and editing short films using mobile technology. Through hands-on exercises and guidance from the coordinators, participants learned various techniques and approaches to storytelling and visual communication in the context of mobile filmmaking. The students enthusiastically embraced the challenge and produced a diverse range of short films that showcased their creativity and storytelling abilities. The workshop not only honed their technical skills but also encouraged them to explore important societal issues through the medium of film.
