    Elevate Your Animation & VFX Craft with Al-Powered Storytelling

    The Department of Animation & Visual Effects, in proud partnership with Unique World Robotics, invites final-year Animation & VFX students to an immersive workshop: Al in Creative Video Production on December 5, 2025, at Yeldo Mar Baselios College for hands-on sessions led by Mr. Gokul S. Pillai, acclaimed filmmaker and founder of Storytellers Union. With his wealth of industry experience, Gokul shared the pioneering Al techniques, insider storytelling secrets, and practical tools to revolutionize video production workflow. The sessions combined theoretical foundations with hands-on demonstrations, equipping attendees with practical skills to integrate Al into professional animation and VFX pipelines. This workshop aligns with emerging global standards in computational creativity and prepares students for competitive roles in media and cinematic industries. Students explored the transformative role of artificial intelligence in modern video production and automating narrative scripting, motion capture enhancement, and procedural animation through large language models (LLMs) and reinforcement learning for seamless VFX pipelines. This mastering Al-driven creativity, where technology meets human ingenuity. sharpen the student's skills, connect them with fellow creators, and unlock new possibilities in animation and VFX.
