    The Department of Animation and Visual Effects at Yeldo Mar Baselios College proudly invites all first-year students to an exclusive, immersive Outdoor Sketching session, set against the breathtaking natural backdrop of Athirappilly and Vazhachal on 26th November 2025. This one-of-a-kind experiential workshop is thoughtfully designed to foster the artistic talents of emerging animators and visual storytellers by blending nature's inspirational beauty with hands-on creative practice. Students had the unique opportunity to step beyond classroom walls and engage directly with the organic forms, textures, and dynamic lighting found in these iconic Kerala landscapes. As the day of outdoor sketching at Athirappilly and Vazhachal comes to a close, students carried not only refined artistic skills but also memories of nature's vibrant inspiration. By stepping outside the conventional studio and engaging directly with the natural environment, participants had discovered how fresh air and organic surroundings can ignite new ideas and enrich their artistic vision. It is this synergy of nature and creativity that forms the foundation of compelling visual effects and animation. Our College is proud to offer such transformative opportunities, nurturing the next generation of artists who see beyond the frame and draw inspiration from the world around them.
