    The Department of Multimedia at Yeldo Mar Baselios College proudly presents an exclusive Film Poster Design Workshop, designed to immerse participants in the art and craft of cinematic visual communication held on 24th November 2025. The session was guided by Antony Stephen, a professional Film Poster Designer, who demonstrated the technical and aesthetic processes behind conceptual poster creation-from composition and typography to tone mapping and visual hierarchy. Through this industry-aligned masterclass, students explored professional workflows integrating Adobe Creative Suite tools, cinematic color grading techniques, and promotional design strategies used in film marketing. The session emphasized ideation through mood boards, key art development, and digital sketching pipelines-transforming storytelling into powerful visual campaigns. The workshop not only honed creative direction and digital artistry but also encouraged participants to visualize cinema as an experiential brand-where every frame, font and hue narrates emotion and identity. It also serve as a creative platform for Multimedia students to engage with professionals, decode evolving digital trends, and translate cinematic emotion into design excellence.
