The Department of Fashion Design organized an Outdoor Sketching session for first-year students on 4 November 2025 at Kallingalkadav Puthuppady. The activity encouraged participants to immerse themselves in the natural environment, observing textures, tones, and organic forms that inspire design thinking. Amid the open landscapes, students explored the rich interplay of light and color, translating their observations into expressive sketches. The session aimed to strengthen visual perception, enhance hand-eye coordination, and nurture a designer's sensitivity to natural hues and patterns.
