    Dive into the transformative world of Digital Intermediate (DI) Colour Science with an intensive masterclass designed specifically for final-year students in the Department of Animation & VFX on 16 Jan 2026 at Yeldo Mar Baselios College. This workshop enhanced the students' journey on log-encoded RAW footage-captured in flat, high-dynamic-range formats , theatrical-grade deliverables ready for festival screens or streaming platforms. Guided by industry veteran Ebin Philip, a seasoned DI Colourist with credits on high-profile projects, mastered the ACES color-managed pipeline, leveraging node-based grading in industry-standard tools. This hands-on sessions include real-world shot breakdowns from log footage through to final graded masters, with opportunities to grade personal VFX reels. In the competitive realms of animation, VFX, and filmmaking, mastering DI colour grading is non-negotiable. This workshop equiped our students with pro-level skills to elevate raw dailies into cinematic masterpieces that help them to step into the industry as colour sorcerers ready to redefine storytelling, one luminous grade at a time.
