    The Department of Multimedia at Yeldo Mar the Baselios College (YMBC) organized an enriching industrial visit for II and III year students to PHOTOFEST INDIA 2026 premier Photo, Video & Imaging Fair - held on June 5, 2026 at the Adlux International Convention Centre, Angamaly. Hosted by the All Kerala Photographers' Association, the event offered students hands-on exposure to the latest cameras, lenses, lighting solutions, drones, and post-production tools through live demonstrations and gear showcases. Participants engaged directly with industry experts, gaining practical insights into contemporary shooting techniques, workflow optimization, and career pathways in photography and cinematography. The visit emphasized experiential learning, allowing students to test professional equipment, attend targeted sessions, and network with photographers, vendors, and technical specialists. This opportunity strengthened the department's commitment to bridging classroom theory with industry practice, equipping our students with current knowledge and contacts that will support their creative development and future employability.
