    New Faces, New Energy, Your Chapter Begins -Welcome Class of 2K26!

    Yeldo Mar Baselios College is delighted to welcome the Class of 2K26. Arambham 2K26 marked the start of this exciting chapter, as the college community gathered to celebrate fresh ideas, meaningful connections, and a shared commitment to excellence in media and design education. The occasion also enjoyed the cordial participation of the Dance Club and Music Club, whose enthusiasm helped set a warm, festive tone for the day. The inaugural ceremony opened with a warm welcome address by the Coordinator, Mr. Robin Paul. His remarks underscored YMBC's emphasis on experiential learning, professional readiness, and a supportive campus culture and heartly welcome all the dignitaries. The inauguration was formally conducted by our Principal, Ms. Chinchu V. Joy, whose vision for student-centred learning and holistic development set a motivating tone for the year ahead. In her inaugural address, she encouraged the new students to embrace curiosity, collaborate across disciplines, and make the most of the college's resources and mentorship opportunities. A special vote of thanks was delivered by Student Coordinator Ms. Shinomol, who expressed gratitude to the Principal, HoDs, IQAC coordinator , Academic head, faculties and non teaching staff, and students for their contributions to the successful conduct of the event. She acknowledged the guidance of the college leadership and the enthusiasm of the Dance club and Music club. She also invited students to actively participate in co-curricular activities. The cultural segment of the program showcased the diverse talents of YMBC students, featuring more than 25 performances spanning dance, music, and instruments. These performances celebrated cultural richness and creative expression, providing an engaging platform for students to display their skills and build camaraderie. The variety and professionalism of the acts reflected the college's strong extracurricular culture and its role in nurturing confident, well-rounded graduates. The programme concluded on an inspiring faculty performances by Mr. Falah Ali and Mr. Baiju C. Acharya. Their artistic contribution not only entertained the audience but also demonstrated the collaborative spirit and creative mentorship that characterise the YMBC community. This event made a measurable impact on the incoming students by fostering a sense of belonging and encouraging immediate engagement with campus life. Thus Arambham 2K26 reaffirmed Yeldo Mar Baselios College's commitment to cultivating talent in media and design through a balanced emphasis on academics, practical training, and cultural immersion.
