    The Department of Fashion Design at Yeldo Mar Baselios College proudly presents "SMART THREADS: Revolutionizing Fashion with Al", an exclusive one-day workshop tailored for Third-Year B.Sc Fashion Technology students on 9th January 2026. Our esteemed resource person, Ms. Ben Joe, an expert in immersive design technologies with global experience in platforms like CLO 3D, Adobe Substance, and generative Al such as Mid journey and Stable Diffusion, participants will explore VR/AR integrations for virtual fashion shows and blend these innovations with traditional craftsmanship to craft future-ready portfolios. The cutting-edge Al tools revolutionizing the industry, including 3D modeling for rapid garment prototyping, generative pattern design for infinite creative variations, and sustainable fabric innovation through Al-driven simulations that minimize waste and predict material lifecycles. This hands-on session offered live demos, group exercises, personalized feedback, networking opportunities, and students were skilled to dominate the fashion landscape. Blending Al with traditional sketching feels so natural now. Ms. Joe's global insights on VR fashion shows opened doors.
